I have noticed on a few occasions something that is mildly annoying.
When you first enter the system repair section, the top item (reboot in safe mode and continue) has the focus but is not selected (not checked). So far so good. Then if you ignore that and double click on some other repair item, (Malware Bytes for instance) the "reboot in safe mode and continue" item also gets selected and and since it's first in the list, it runs first. I suppose that it's because it has the focus because if you change the focus to the item you wish to run with a single click and then double click it the safe mode thing does not happen.
Not really a big deal but I thought you should be aware that it happens. A cheap fast fix would be to make something that is less dramatic than a reboot be the first item. (like free physical memory) Then if that happened no reboot would occur and you would just say "oh yeah, that's right, that does happen when I do that" instead of "well crap!, now I need to have my remote customer log back in for me so I can continue" LOL

Re: System Repair Section Double click an Item
Brink, I'm not being able to reproduce that issue.
I launch UVK, go to the System repair section.
Correct, the first item is highlighted, not checked.
I double-click some other item, and only the double-clicked item becomes checked and is executed.
Can you tell the Windows version in which the issue happens? Thanks.

Re: System Repair Section Double click an Item
I have two on the bench right now that are doing it.
Both are 64bit.
One is a Dell Inspiron P17Z w/Core i3 Running Win8 home premium.
The other is a HP Pavilion g7 w/Core i3 Running Win7 home premium.
I'll post a video after they complete the current operation.

Well, I can't make it do it now either. LOL
It is quite annoying when it happens though. Sorry I can't do that video right now.
I'll try to remember to record future sessions so I can can show you when it does this. Thanks for your attention.

Re: System Repair Section Double click an Item
Never mind. I'm guessing you have a fast double-click, and when UVK gets the checked items, the first one is still checked.
I'll make it wait a bit before doing it, and also don't highlight any items by default.

I figured it out. It's when you double click between items. So it is just my clumsiness. Could you please move "free physical memory" to the top to help the clumsy folks?

Re: System Repair Section Double click an Item
LOL, I didn't think of that one. In fact, double-clicking between items doesn't highlight any of them, but still sends the notification. I'll still make UVK don't highlight any items by default.

Thanks for looking into that. Like I said it was not a big deal. It just catches me off guard once in a while. And when I'm doing remote support it is more annoying because of the reboot unexpectedly thing.
I still can't say enough good things about your software. I appreciate you. We appreciate you.
