In the last couple betas, a dozen different systems the desktop icon does not appear.

Hey Jim, can you please check out if you haven't set up that option (no desktop shortcut) in your UVKSettings.ini file? I'm unable to reproduce that issue.

Tried UVKSetup, UVKPortable, common license, branding license, no license, the desktop icon is always created just fine. The only thing that comes to mind is the UVKSettings.ini file changed.

Fred I well check that out and let you know. I did not set that on purpose but it could have been accidently set. I'll get back with you later :)

Fred, You are right. The desktop Icon was unchecked but I have no idea why.

No problem, Jim. I'm glad to know it's not a bug. It should be unchecked when you saved to the ini file, for some reason. No worries.

It must have been when I was messing with saving setting and testing it for you. The sad part is, I didn't even notice that was an option.
