Right, but the save settings button isn’t saving the setting. There’s a pop up at the top that says the settings were saved but it not.

Think I found the problem: Windows Defender. Ran 9.5 on another PC and it loaded up a little slow but acceptable. Epiphanied and turned off the AV...no real difference but that made me think of Windows Defender (which I use as a minimum AV on my PC) and VOILA - slowness identified. The other PC I'd run it on the other day also used Defender.

That's great news, Xander. Especially now that I have a new build ready to upload which I hope it'll become the next stable.

9.5.1 does not remove the desktop icon on uninstall.

Yes, I saw that too. Should be fixed in 9.5.2. Just released.

Still unable to edit any field in "professional report dialog" when launching SR with 9.5.2 (well, report path is editable but that's all)

Any idea why this is showing up misaligned like this?
BTW, The folder in the background with all of UVK files in it. Is there a way I can simplify this?
With the new setup, this appears to be a portable version right, no install required?
Is it possible to just show UVK_EN.exe instead of the other files?
Should I just "Hide" them and turn on the hide hidden folders function?

All but restore points. When it's done scanning, clicking any of the buttons appears to do nothing.

Could not make it happen yet. Trying in other machines now. Is this the same machine that gave those "no disc in drive" errors?

wrc559, as I said before, the files you really need to access are UVK_en.exe and Log analyzer.exe. You can hide all the other files.
Anyways, if you like it simple, you can just keep using UVKPortable.exe instead. Just don't mix them up. Use either one of the packages or the zip folder, not both.

On 9.5.2 in system repair after checking:
Empty temp folders
Empty browser cache
Delete cookies
cleanup junk files
cleanup registry
Install Java
Install directX
Install Flash
The home button appears to do nothing. Actually the rest of the buttons show a mouse over effect and clicking "X" does nothing either...
Also, DirectX is not automated like it used to be.
This has occurred so far on a Dell and a Gateway.... So I don't think computer make matters at all.

Thanks, Jim. I think I know why it's happening, and I already fixed that part. Will now check out the automation of the directx install, and release a new beta.

OK, it seems after doing something in reports and system repair, clicking Home does nothing...

Yes, it's actually related to the tooltip message box. I'll upload a new beta that should fix that.

Cool, I wasn't sure if I should report that or not. I'll just chill till the next beta so I know if any unknown bugs still exist
