It is not "Can it be done?" but rather, "How can we do it?"

Re: Desktop icon
Thanks for reporting, Jim.
I will check this out ASAP.

Re: Desktop icon
Hey Jim, can you please check out if you haven't set up that option (no desktop shortcut) in your UVKSettings.ini file? I'm unable to reproduce that issue.
Tried UVKSetup, UVKPortable, common license, branding license, no license, the desktop icon is always created just fine. The only thing that comes to mind is the UVKSettings.ini file changed.
Thanks

Re: Desktop icon
Fred I well check that out and let you know. I did not set that on purpose but it could have been accidently set. I'll get back with you later

Re: Desktop icon
Fred, You are right. The desktop Icon was unchecked but I have no idea why.

Re: Desktop icon
No problem, Jim. I'm glad to know it's not a bug. It should be unchecked when you saved to the ini file, for some reason. No worries.

Re: Desktop icon
It must have been when I was messing with saving setting and testing it for you. The sad part is, I didn't even notice that was an option.
