Hi Guys,

I’ve been busy running around doing stuff for the upcoming June wedding. Except for today. It’s snowing and since it’s snowing I decided I’m not going to do anything today. I hope everyone is well. :)

Yeah, that's pretty ironic, because I went to swim in the sea twice today...

I would love to live as close as you do to the sea. At least for a little while :)

I know, right? What’s up with that? That’s why I’m doing nothing today. Is discouraging. It stopped again for now. It’s warmed up to 35 degrees right now. Heat wave! They are saying 29 degrees for a low tonight. It’s crazy! It's windy a crap too.

Jim, and I would love to live in the US. But bill has his own lake. Doesn't really need the sea.

I think it's a pretty cool place to live but I would like to see other places in the world. Mainly so I know how other cultures operate.

I live in northern Minnesota, about 150 miles from the Canadian border driving the roads. Closer as the crow flies.

Took Me a whole day, but I did finally wake up Bill. lol I feel for you being in the cold still. Have a little pity on me too for the intense heat we been having around here. Fred, you have a cool Flat. (Is that what they call a house in France?) Jim, I visit Missouri on occasion, My father-in-law lives in Miller about 45 minutes from Springfield. I don't know what part of Missouri you are in but where he is, there is nothing there. It's nice and everything, a good place to get away from it all. Though I don't understand how folks can earn a living in such sparsely populated places.

So Hello Everyone. :) I'm awake today.

Hi well its a lovely day here in the dreaming spires of Oxford, England i take it for granted sometimes how lovely it is.
Sometimes on a sunny day i will go for a walk and look at all the sites where inspector mores was filmed.
As well as so many others, i was lucky enough to see Michael Cain and Val kilmer filming and got an autograph.
I was to star struck to ask Michael cane for his autograph,so i sent my 6 year old daughter over and waited beside a car and when she asked him he turned to her and said, hello young lady i doubt if you no who i am but of course you can,at which point she turned around and pointed and said its not for me its for my daddy who is hiding behind that car.

I am about 45 Min north of St Louis in a town of about 3000 people. It is tough up here especially with towns north and south 30 miles away that have several computer places in them. I keep doing better with each day but that kind of explains why I am not gung-ho to pay some genius's astronomical prices for his third party collection of software. No, I'm not referring to Fred, Fred's prices are more than fair and I thank him for that.

Does it ever warm up in Minnesota? The coldest temperature I have ever been in was New Mexico. It was -10 although, I think it got down to that last winter here so I might have to change that story.

If Google earth is anywhere near correct, it looks like Fred lives in a pretty cool place.

The story about the kid was funny. Kids tend to be truthful, especially if you don't want them to be.

I liked the story about the kid too.

Yeah, the place where I live is pretty cool. My apartment has view over the (Mediterranean) sea from my balcony at north-east.

Yes, those things in the top of the mountain are real bunkers from world war II. I live about half a mile far from the sea, so as long as the weather gets warmy in spring, I jogg everyday to go swimming in the sea. The sea water is never too cold here because it's a small sea. In the summer, tourists come by thousands and it gets messy.

From my bed room's window I have view over the (Albères) mountains and the local college.

I like rambling and jogging, and once I and my wife walked to the top of the highest mountain in the photo. It's called the Madeloc tower. About 15 miles walking.

We don't own this apartment. It's rented and we pay about $800 USD per month. It's area is only ~55 m2. A bit too expensive for our budget, but we like living here. Unfortunately we'll me moving soon because the owner put it on sale. So now we're searching for a new home.

It looks beautiful there Fred. It’s funny how sometimes we forget how beautiful the place we are really is. It’s pretty nice in northern Minnesota. Its where people around here escape to from the city for the weekend. There are many lakes and many people have cabins up here. I happen to live very close to where the Mississippi river starts in Itasca State Park. (http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/ ... ex.html)We take people that come to visit us over there all the time and they always love going there. There’s good hunting, fishing and trapping here. There are also hundreds of mile of ATV and walking trials. About a quarter mile from home there is a hiking trail that passes by called the “North Country National Scenic Trail” (http://www.nps.gov/noco/index.htm) that runs from New York to North Dakota. (Now that’s a hike) It takes you thru the woods and it’s pretty cool to go walking on it. Sometimes I need to stop and smell the roses as the saying goes. Have a great day everyone! :)

I like the Itasca State Park a lot. I love forests with big trees. Unfortunate we don't have any over here, unlike the place where I used to live in Portugal. I also like lakes a lot. Can people swim in those lakes?
