When on windows 8.1 I run UVK for resetting the file permissions and thereafter the office 2013 refuses to open office related documents. It was working before the file permissions script from UVK was executed.
Also, don't know what's going on with the branding logos,icons they are not sticking specially on the icon of the UVK it was working perfect in much older versions, actually when I and another user first ask about this feature.

Hi gls9000. Sorry I just saw this un-answered post. What you describe is happening to the office 2013 files is somewhat weird. Has it ever happened before?
Try the following: Open UVK, go to the Misc tools section, in the input box under "Registry tools", enter the following:
From the "Select action to perform" drop down box, select "Unlock key (grant access)". Press "Perform action" and confirm. That should do the trick.
I will test the logos and icons in all Windows versions to see if there's something wrong.

No, never happened before. I do remember way back someone reporting a similar problem with the permissions having to do with the wifi connection, Immediately you put out a fix but I remember the problem was arising with the beta version,that would be the closest thing to this.
