Hi Fred,
I noticed a typo in registry seeker. See the screen shot. It says Thick “Force Removal” and I think it should say Tick ‘Force Removal”. Also, as you can see “Force Removal is already ticked.

Thanks. I will look into that. Can you please check out if those values still exist? I think the error is because they have already been deleted.

I fixed those bugs and uploaded a new beta. Thanks again for reporting

You sir are correct. Those entries are gone now. The computer had been rebooted so I’m not sure if a reboot was in order or if they would have been gone anyway. The only entry found related to those entries was the UVK backup of them. Thanks Fred.

Edit: Question. v6.5.5.0. I told Registry seeker to delete the UVK backup of the removed keys by ticking the box next to the backup key and unchecking create backup at the top and checking force removal and then clicking delete selected. I then rebooted and searched again and it keeps finding the UVK backup. Is there a special way to delete these backups or is this maybe a bug? I hope this makes sense.

You're right, Bill. There was a bug when deleting entries and Force removal was selected.

Anyway, to delete the backups, it is best to do it by clicking Restore deleted. I think I will change the title of this button to "Backup manager", as it currently does not indicate what it really does.

Hi Fred,
All seems to be working well so far. I never clicked on the restore delete button. I guess I was too busy seeking.
I can see now that that button is very useful. I like the idea of the name change, but it’s not a huge deal once a guy clicks on it and looks under the hood. This sure is a nice new feature. Thank you.
