Re: TechToolStore.exe /UpdateSilent
Thanks so much for the super quick response. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. That sounds fantastic!
I cannot wait to give it a shot!

Re: Cannot get "installdir" switch to work
Yeah, it is odd. I haven't used UVK for a while and I just got some time to configure it but I got hung up here. I know this has worked with similar code in the past.
I could be wrong; and I can't seem to pin point what it is, but I believe my cloud settings are not being updated as well ...

Cannot get "installdir" switch to work
I am trying to run a batch file to install UVK on a sub folder of the system drive. When I do this it ignores the custom "intalldir" switch and installs in the Program Files.
I am positive that folder "assets" and the setup file are in the proper locations as well.
%SYSTEMDRIVE%\assure\assets ...

Re: Possible bug in windows 7
I have had a similar problem with about 5 windows 7 machines last week. This could be unrelated but I do not think so.
I have determined that it is something in UVK as I ran my UVK SR script on them after restoring windows and the message reappeared.
Problem:
Windows could not connect to the group ...

Manage + Open Registry Paths
I am pretty sure I remember being able to "manage" registry keys in the past. So this leads me to the question - was this feature removed / not added correctly / am I not looking in the correct place?
I would think it would make sense to add this in the "Tools and tweaks > Registry tweaks".

Re: UAK - more command line support
Yeah I believe the one we no longer speak of is driving everyone away. The thing that really ticked me off is he would just stop supporting random products even if you have a current license. I have several licenses to products that are useless.
Oh well, I am glad I found Freds products! I'm sure ...

Re: UAK - more command line support
Is there any ETA for this version to be released or worked on? I Would be willing to pay for this as I too am looking for a program to run in the background.
Thanks for your hard work and reasonable prices
(unlike someone who we know),
Tyler

+1 for this! I was actually going to post this suggestion but figured I posted to many in the past week.

.RAR and .7Z Support
Does UVK support extracting .RAR and .7Z files from third party apps? If not then maybe add this as a Feature Request. I would like to use the Sophos Virus Removal Tool and MalwareBytes Anti-Rootkit as part of the System Repair process.

Re: Send Reports Via Command Line
I was never one to ask about how something "sounds" maybe someone else can chime in here. Although I would love to see a screenshot! I would also be interested in how you are creating the database of "bad" files. Would the users of UVK be able to create a database together? Would you be creating it ...

Custom Tools Section
It would be nice to have a section for strictly custom tools that can be edited. Something similar to the links page would be great. It would be helpful for those programs that are used on an as needed basis. I don't know if this has been requested before but its just a thought.
Thanks,
Tyler

Thanks for the quick response Fred. I am also interested in the Ultra Adware Cleaner, when can we expect to see this in action?

Send Reports Via Command Line
Just as the title suggests I would like to be able to run a script, then once completed have the script send either an FTP or Email report. I would like this to be send via a custom command or command line switch.
