Temporary Customer Notice

A long time no see from me and I have to congratulate you once again on the amount of work that has gone into this program of late. It really is top notch.

You have taken my suggestions before very seriously, now I wish to throw something a little wild at you. I had been thinking of this for some ...

Re: Quick Mention

Woops, I had intended to update to beta, but of course since I updated it through the program at launch it would have been to 7.5.1 from whichever previous version I had on my own computer, perhaps 7.4.1

[Fixed] Quick Mention

Hello Fred, it has been a long time since I have posted on these forums, but just dropping by to thank you for the recent update. It looks great, really looking forward to having a go with the new features!

As well as this, and although this may only be something affecting me alone, I thought I ...

Third Party App

Hello,

I am currently trying to get Crystaldiskinfo to work as a third party app. I am using the majorgeeks page and the download works well. As it is a zip file, it is automatically unzipped into a folder of the same name. The only problem I am having is that I can't quite get it to run! Inside ...

I'm not sure if this is possible, but...

It's not uncommon for people to leave off a laptop without a password written down, so quite often I tend to blank them. One thing that I have always wanted is a pop up notice to change password on the next login, though I wasn't ever able to come up with much except for (if I remember) the command ...

Re: Just A Thought

Mighty fine job as always Fred! Looks great. Looking forward to taking the new adware tool for a spin as well.

I'm not sure if it is significant, but I happened to notice that the beta before this one (v6.9.1.0) came up under hitmanpro as a threat. Just to mention!

EDIT: Sorry, scrap that. I ...

Re: Just A Thought

Very good. I thought it would be a big ask! Just something to think ponder.

With the shutdown/sleep I was really thinking of having them as buttons to hit while the other processes are running. I forget to hit these sometimes, my fault, really.

Just A Thought

Since UVK is such a cool project I have been trying to go out of my way to think of improvements for you, one thing I have pondered is a possible improvement to the pop up for the currently running fixes.

On a few occasions I have been caught where I have forgotten to select all of the things I ...

Re: UVK and herdProtect

I see what you mean. I had looked very quickly around their site to see if there happened to be a reporting page. I didn't find any, so I assumed that this would have to be by direct contact. With a bit of hoaking I have managed to find it now and have submitted a report for you.

I hope it isn't a ...

Re: UVK and herdProtect

Though what seems to be good is that it also assembles a list of inconclusive detections below the more confident ones (the more certain detections are automatically checked). It wouldn't have been so bad if UVK had fallen into this category.

But I did find this:

Re: UVK and herdProtect

I should add, it isn't just uvk_en.exe that it detects but several other things related to UVK!
