Make the F8 Key Work for Safe Mode in Windows 8
I’m not sure if this should be a fix or not, but I do use it and using the f8 key as in the past works well. I found this on the web. I can’t remember where though. Anyone else have a thought on this?
To get that classic F8 behavior back launch an elevated command prompt.
When the command prompt opens, run the following: bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy
That’s it. Now, when your computer boots up, you can use the F8 key to view the classic Advanced Boot Options.
If you want to return the boot menu back to normal, you can use this command:
bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy standard

Cool Bill, I didn't know about that command. I will make a fix of it.
Thanks

One thing we humans have in common is that we are all different. So, if you think you're weird because you're different from everyone else, then we are all weird.
