KB4532693 update breaking user profile

So this happened to a customer, and I thought it was an isolated case, but it just happened in one of my computers too.
After installing the KB4532693 update, Windows fails to login to the current user profile, so a temporary profile is loaded. UVK/Quick user manager detect the corrupted profile and fix the registry key, but that does not solve the issue.
Reinstalling Windows 10 from the install media after fixing the corrupted profile does solve the issue. Uninstalling the problematic update with WAU Manager fixed it too. Hope this helps someone.
Just out of curiosity, both computers affected by this issue only had one user account installed. In my affected computer, uninstalling the update fixed the issue, reinstalling it brought it back.
