Hello from Lake George Tech

Post by wmmiller »

My name is Bill. I’m a self-taught Tech and one man show. I live in northern Minnesota, USA. I bought a branding license for UVK and am glad I did. The program works well, is easy to use and the help files are easy to understand and straight forward. UVK dose many things that every tech needs. I found UVK on http://www.technibble.com. UVK author Fred responds to question quickly and is helpful. That is an important future of any software as far as I’m concerned. I call my little setup Lake George Tech. I work out of my home. I do computer repair to supplement disability income after dealing with kidney failure and two kidney transplants. I’m a lucky man. Keep up the great work Fred. I look forward to future development of UVK. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Hi Bill, welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the heads up on UVK and for purchasing the branding license. It's nice to know that UVK is helping the techs to do their job.

I'm currently coding a new feature for UVK: a Smart uninstaller. It will allow to uninstall several programs at once with unattended mode when possible.

It's already half done, but it will take a week or two to be released. I think it will make a nice complement.

Another new feature I have already coded for the next release is a scripting software updater. It will allow the techs to update their tools in a ketarin styled way, but using UVK scripts. It's already working, but still needs some debugging.

Feel free to post if you have any questions.

Have a nice day!
One thing we humans have in common is that we are all different. So, if you think you're weird because you're different from everyone else, then we are all weird.
