I’ve don’t a few upgrades as well as clean installs and all have gone well too. I do have one x64 compute with 4GB ram that say there is only something like 2.93GB useable.
I've had one upgrade issue in a desktop machine (custom built, AMD socket, ASRock MB, x64). In the middle of the install process it said it could not upgrade to Windows 10 in this hardware. The hardware is not too old (3 or 4 of years).
I contacted the owner, and will do a clean Win 7 install followed by the upgrade, to see what happens.
