Hi tate-datwin.

The cleanup operation seemed to work well but you need to reboot the PC for it to complete.

Otherwise, how's the computer running?
One thing we humans have in common is that we are all different. So, if you think you're weird because you're different from everyone else, then we are all weird.

tate-datwin,

Please save the attached UVK script (tate.uvk) to your desktop. double-click the saved file, which should automatically be loaded by UVK. Press Run script and confirm. UVK will run the script and then reboot your computer. That will remove Winsweeper and make some extra cleanup and repair. Hopefully your machine will work better after the reboot.

If your storage device is a HDD (not a SSD), it may be failing. That would explain the slowness and Explorer bugs. In that case, I would advise you to backup your data, replace your HDD with an SSD and install Windows 10 on it.

You also seem to have tried many malware removal tools in your machine, and some of them may have done permanent damage to your OS. A fresh Windows install could be the best choice for you.

Either way, backing up your data is always a wise choice, especially before running the attached script.
