There are several tools for use with thumbdrives but my personal favorite is Yumi. I have used it for a coiuple years now and have a thumbdrive or two setup with UBCD, Hirens, Windows 7 live, 4 Different linux versions, 3 different AV tools and several various utilities all on one 32GB thumbdrive.
You can find Yumi here:

It's easy to use and Yumi actually includes links to most of the ISO images if you don't already have them.

Re: Yumi
Jim, thanks for posting this. Is this tool free? Maybe I could add it to TTS.

Re: Yumi
Yep it is free. If you add it, there a couple other tools just like it that you might add as well. I just prefer Yumi.

Re: Yumi
Yumi is pretty cool.
I like Rufus (https://rufus.akeo.ie/) for creating boot drives from ISO files made from boot disks.
Hp's drivekey format tool is great for formatting corrupt drives that windows refuses to deal with. The link is elusive. It's part of a softpaq that does other things. http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Business-P ... ecyuPlVhBd
And then there Sardu http://www.sarducd.it/ which is similar to Yumi and also has links to prebuilt images.
EDIT: Since I posted this, the HP drivekey software has become much easier to obtain. Please see http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/pub ... a631d9eaba for the latest version.
RE-EDIT: The link http://h20564.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/pub ... a631d9eaba does not contain the same software that I was talking about. And the original link's (http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Business-P ... ecyuPlVhBd) contents have changed. Just PM me and I'll get it for you.

Re: Yumi
I was gonna post some of them but it looks like you got it covered
I like all those as well.
Speaking of thumb drives there is a utility on my windows live disk that forces the eject of thumb drives that I need to find so I can use it more often.

I'll check the other ones out. Thanks Brink.

Re: Yumi
I was looking at Yumi a while back when I wanted to put the ISO's of OS installs on my flash drive and make them bootable. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, but it wasn't working for me. I will take another look.

Re: Yumi
Just try RMPrepUSB http://www.rmprepusb.com/
It has more than 130 tutorial to make drives bootable. I have used it from very very long ago. It gives lots of features/options which others can't. including virtual emulation to test your bookable drives and Fake USB tester, and USB read write speed.
Author make its advance version Easy2Boot http://www.easy2boot.com/ , in which you don't need any programming, just drop your iso file and it can boot it. easy2boot also support virtual images, floppy images and lots of other images to boot including imgPTN
Here you can find the tested bootable files list http://www.easy2boot.com/add-payload-fi ... oad-files/
the good thing is both are free and live development.
Easy2Boot more easy and advance but I still like and use RMPrepUSB

Re: Yumi
Thanks for the reminder Muhammad. I looked at these in the past but stuck with Yumi at the time. I don’t remember why though. I was likely in a hurry and went with what was familiar and I knew would work with what I was booting. I’ll take another look.
