650 RC5

Post by Charger440 »

Fred

I see you added check boxes to the uninstaller but they do not seem to work correctly. You still have to hold CTRL to multiselect. Or, did you add them for another purpose?
Jim

It is not "Can it be done?" but rather, "How can we do it?"

Jim, I also noticed they don't work well in Icon view. Windows bug, I guess. I'll try to figure it out, though.

They work in Details view but don't actually display until they're mouseover'd.

Xander, that's the expected behavior. Like in the windows explorer. Those check boxes are intended to help with the selection of the items. It's the LVS_EX_AUTOCHECKSELECT extended style, not the LVS_EX_CHECKBOXES. ListView extended styles.

A listview control with this style automatically selects the items when they are checked, and automatically checks items when they are selected. But it's not working well in Icons view, though.

Not a complain. I know where to find them and they're behaving fine for me. Ctrl not needed for multi-selection.
