System Repair dual URLS for x32/x64

Post by Xander »

I've had to set up a few tools as two entries, one for each x32/x64 (e.g. Roguekiller, ESET Rogue Remover). UVK allows for the option to "run if x32" or "run if x64" but there's no way to tell it to download the separate versions without creating a second entry.

I agree Xander, I asked for this before and the response was that most installers install the appropriate bit automatically. I think that was how it was put but now that you have suggested it there is more interest in it so let's see what happens now :)

Case in point: if UAK wasn't baked in, it would require two entries.

I understand completely where you are coming from. For instance, I'm not sure how Fred does it but RogueKiller will not install the system driver with the 32 bit app on a 64 bit OS unless they have changed that. In that case if it was not included you would need to pick the correct bit instead of making 2 entries with are essentially redundant :)

Hi guys. That was the original idea. But As I developed, many problems appeared and I had to do it the way it is. The same happened with TTS. I'll give it another try, but as far as I can tell it will not be possible.
One thing we humans have in common is that we are all different. So, if you think you're weird because you're different from everyone else, then we are all weird.
