[Solved] Can't save to favorites sub folders

Post by wmmiller »

Windows 8.1 x64

I’ve never seen this before but I can't save to favorites sub folders. I can save to the favorite’s folder all day long. I have reset everything I can think. I’m not sure when this started but it’s annoying. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Hi Bill.

Please try this: Launch UVK and go to the IT/Geek tools section.

In the "Unlock a lock folder" input, enter %UserProfile%\Favorites

Press Unlock it! and confirm.

Let me know if it is working now.

Hi Fred and thank you. That didn’t work for the sub folders, but I used it on one of the sub folders and now they all appear to be unlocked. I would say this fixed it. That is one thing I didn’t think to try but will in the future. Thanks again Fred. :D
