I'm starting a YouTube channel for techs to review different software products. Things like RMMs and repair tools that techs might use. While I am a diehard UVK user, during a 50% off sale, I purchased a D7x license to do some comparison videos and show people more up-to-date information. I couldn't go wrong since it was only something like 60.00 instead of 179. The first thing I learned while testing this software out is that I prefer UVK. While D7x is a great program, and I'm sure there is a market for it, UVK is cleaner and easier to use, and the support is 1000% better. Fred is an awesome guy and I've never had an issue with support here.
Comparing these two tools, I can say without a doubt that my go-to will be UVK. I do like how D7x runs, but I can't find anything that D7x does that I can't already do with UVK. Even if I was not on the lifetime license, I don't see a need to pay 179.00 a year for that product.

Re: Competition
Well, thanks for the review, Fred!
One thing we humans have in common is that we are all different. So, if you think you're weird because you're different from everyone else, then we are all weird.

Re: Competition
Just a heads-up. I was in on d7 at its beginnings and, around the time they switched the name to d7x, the support went to total crap. The forums were basically abandoned and, the rare time someone poked their nose in, they were banning people calling that out.
