New partial C++ UVK

Post by Fred »

I'm proud to announce the release of a new partial build of the C++ UVK version I'm working on.

This release had a lot of work because the Run scripts section required me to convert almost all UVK fixes to C++. Just like the previous one, this build is provided to you as a zip file containing the files needed for UVK to work in a 64-bit system. It will not work on a 32-bit OS.

You just need to extract the contents of the zip file to a folder and run UVK_en.exe. No need to install.

Working features in this build: Process manager, Memory modules manager, Autorun manager, Service manager, Alternate streams manager, Delete files and folders, Scan and create log, Run scripts, Misc tools and Ultra adware killer.

Any feedback is appreciated, as always.

Download here.

Cool. I can see it's a work in progress. You are defiantly making progress though.

I don't mess with any DPI settings on this PC but the upper contents of each window floods to the right:

I've been meaning to ask - will the C++ version still be able to run autoit script commands? I'm assuming it will but can't hurt to confirm.

Thank you all for the feedback.

Xander, the DPI settings don't change the size of the upper buttons. Some of the buttons may be hidden when the window is resized to the smallest width. On the other hand, the window size never changes when switching sections.

Yes, UVK will be able to run AutoIt scripts, but it's not working yet.

It loads up quick!

The memory modules manager is crashing for me at 0%. Just FYI, I know it's a work in progress :)

LOL - definitely not trying to be defiant. Oversight. Sorry about that. - LOL

Thanks Fred that is good news. It’s really fast too. 8-) :D

FYI: I have no BIOS or Serial and SNID/Service tag information on a Dell Studio 1749. It does show correctly in version 7.8.2.0

Network adapters and IP addresses section looks hinky.

Other than that I think everything in system info is ok.

Yep Bill, the IP address is for sure wrong. Not sure about service tag but everything else looks good.

Bill, can you please pm me a screenshot of the serial/service tag line in 7.8.2.0? Thanks.

I will fix the IP address issue ASAP.

Sorry about that, Bill. The board attachment quota was still the original value (50 MB). I increased it, you should be able to send now.
