Thanks for the bug report, Tomas. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for you're input.
I should just mention that i have windows 10 64 bit creators edition on a Alienware 17r4, and when first using UVK, it worked with no issues. However, upon reinstalling windows again, that's when the info error occurred.
I'm reffering to the system info button on the front of the interface and not the one within "Tools and tweaks" that one works fine.
The Alienware is working flawlessly at the moment, so i don't really want to mess with things.
I guess it's difficult to prioritise this issue especially when others don't have the same issue.
Thank you.

Update:
Just done a windows 10 reinstall.
This time when clicking on system info, no microsoft message, the app just disappears?
Strange, everything else works apart from system info.

I've been trying to reproduce this, but no luck. Thomas, are you willing to help me debug this? I can make a custom build to help us in the debug process.

Thanks for being willing to help out with this, Thomas.

Please download the following zip archive:
UVK_en64.zip
(1.12 MiB) Downloaded 204 times
Extract UVK_en64.exe from the zip to UVK's install folder, overwriting the existing file.

Launch UVK and go to the System Info section. the application will crash, but before thet it will create a new fill in your desktop folder, named uvkdebug. Please post the contents of this file in your next reply. It will tell me at what part of the code UVK crashed.

It's possible that we'll need to repeat this procedure several times until we figure out exactly what line of code causes the crash.

Thank you Thomas. So now we know the crash takes place when retrieving hard disk information. Because it is a hardware dependent crash, I'm still not able to determine exactly what is causing it, so we need to run a new debug build. The procedure is exactly the same as for the previous one.

Fred,
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner.
You know the latest "Fall Update" from Microsoft, I decided to format my SSD whilst installing the update, and now the SSD has disappeared. I tried command prompt shift + F10, but the table just shows a 1 tb hdd.
Anyway, as soon as Dell sorts this out for me, I will get back to you with the latest zip file results.
Thanks

Thomas, I'm glad you fixed your issue. I have a last build, this one will tell me accurately where the crash takes place. The procedure is the same. Thanks again for your help.

Hi Thomas.

I managed to figure out what was causing the crash (or at least I think I did). I'm attaching a new build, which should be working fine, now. You can use it to replace the old one until I release an update.
