Been wanting to take Mike Meyers course on Comptia Network + but I'm too cheap to buy Lynda.com. That's how I found Cybrary.

You should look at the Steve Fullmer videos. He is really good. Really professional, I really like his videos.

He is on lynda but he actually is president of Blue Sphere and has been involved with several big name companies over the years. He earned a MBA in management and services marketing from Arizona State University in 1993—graduating first in his class. Just listening to him you can tell he is a very smart man.
Steve is an internationally published author, having written for CIO.com, InformIT, Dr. Dobb's Journal, and One Planet Magazine, and has co-authored and edited courseware on risk management and project management.

Does anyone have Professor Messer's A+ video series? I just found this link to his YouTube page and it looks like he has all the videos for the 801 exam online already. What's the advantage of buying the DVD if he posted them for free on youtube?

Stupid question that was. I just looked up his website and found this on the 801/802 prep video.

This is the index to our free CompTIA 220-801/802 A+ training course videos. All of our training videos are completely free; watch all of our videos online right now!

I guess you only have to pay if you want to be able to download them for offline use.

Hey you made it to 200 posts :)

I got my A+ back when it was adaptive. I got pretty high scores on both sections and I only had like 25 questions or so on each. They were pretty short but I hear they stopped doing adaptive.

I'm watching Steve Fullmer's a+ training on Lynda.com right now. Once I'm done I will take the exam I think. What's a good score to shoot for? I hear 700 on each is passing but I want as good as I can get.

I think they go to 1200. I had 950 and 1100 I think, I would have to check though.

By the way, thanks. I didn't even notice how many posts I made. 200 is awesome. This was o unexpected I don't even have a speech prepared. I guess I'd like to thank my wife. If she wasn't always watching Hallmark channel movies that were boring causing me to jump on the internet I would never have made it this far.
