Re: Changing default repair/maintenance scripts
Sorry I asked.
Re: PCRT
Luke (PCRT) has no problem with us adapting the PHPs to our needs. People regularly post their adapations for the benefit of others. One can't distribute them or anything obviously but adapting a PHP is kosher. Changes to the code would be best posted within the PCRT forums, though.

Re: Changing default repair/maintenance scripts
I've seen those - and know that the scripting options are incredibly versatile. I'm just thinking through ways to have "more at hand" without jumping between UVK and explorer and drag'n'dropping. Before I saw a reply, I was also just thinking about having a 'Disinfect' script button in tha...
Re: PCRT
This shouldn't take too much to implement. PCRT already has a PHP page to pull in D7 logs so I would think it would be a matter of finding someone PHP-competent to go over the D7.php file and adapt its usage to UVK. Depending on how do-able that is, it might need some minor tweaks in UVK in order to...

Re: Help Button
LOL. It just got me again, looking at the Run Script window:
I clicked and got my own site again.
BTW, typo in that line-- missing L in "available"

Changing default repair/maintenance scripts
Not that there's anything wrong with the default scripts but I'm sure, as I progress as a UVK user, that I'm going to want to branch out and include other features as part of my standard procedures (e.g. ninite, diagnostics, etc.). Would it be possible to make the "Insert" buttons in the R...
Re: 7.2.5.0
What about some interactable spots? e.g. clicking the CPU brings up Process Explorer; clicking RAM brings up the Crucial.com scanner...?

Re: Help Button
A local CHM file would, as said, just inflate file size and online pages are just fine. For now, even if they all just pointed to the tutorial page that, for me at least, would have a lot more utility. Though, as you mention, anchor bookmarks would be a little better.

Re: Help Button
Mark me down as a "-1". I just bought UVK today and would much prefer it if the Help buttons were functional and took me to a relevant webpage in the tutorial section. I've seen my website and it doesn't "help" me around the learning curve of UVK. I have no plans currently to be ...

"Help" button opens up my website.
Tried it first in the Reports configuration, wanting to double-check the settings ... got my own site. Went to Service Management...same thing. Alternate Streams...same. Every screen's Help button opens my site.
This is in the latest beta 7.2.5.0; branded version.

Re: JRT
I've got JRT working. Create a batch file of the code below and run that as Command 1. These are the same commands used by D7II to get it to run automatically. @echo off&pushd "%~dp0" start /wait JRT.exe -y -nr pushd %systemdrive%\JRT if not exist "get.bat" pushd "%temp%...

Re: Ultra Adware Killer
I had started using it that way but the downside was that the Third Party folder gets re-downloaded with every run. But, if I change my own configs over from %thirdparty% to "%installsourcedir%\Third Party" that should remedy all but the default scanners, n'est-ce pas? Edit: Hmmm...that do...

Re: Hitman Pro and Rogue Killer
Old thread but if you've got the licensed version of Rogue Killer, you will have a file "RKUpdater" which downloads the latest version and then launches it. The downside is that it does not currently support passing on parameters but I've just emailed with them and they like the idea so it...

Re: Ultra Adware Killer
Great timing to ask then! I'm migrating away from years of D7II and starting my UVK learning curve this week. My goal is to get it running from my NAS (so far, so good) and to automate it as much as possible. Only obstacle so far is the run-from-network popup on RebootExec that comes up after a rebo...

Re: Ultra Adware Killer
Fred, is there a way to whitelist some of the results? For example, I drop a shortcut to my remote site that is: "iexplore.exe http://.... and that gets flagged.

Re: Presets
Can I add a "how about" to this? How about the option to save our Preset as the Default? This way, for our "standard set" of actions, we don't have to load them each time?
