Re: Program Improvement Suggestions
Guys, I want you all to know that I very grateful for your suggestions, but I don't think other tools would find anything the already integrated tools wouldn't. The number of infections found by each tool obviously depends on which one is ran first. Removing SAS and replace it with the Kaspersky Vir...

Re: Can UVK be ran and install with AVG or other virus progr
HI, sag12, welcome to the forums. Of course you can use UVK with anti-virus or anti-spyware applications. It's very important to keep in mind that UVK is not an anti-virus software. Anti-virus software offers real time protection against viruses. Valid examples are Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, Avira, etc....

Re: Program Improvement Suggestions
Yes. I'm working on it.
You see, I had to hurry up with the last two updates because I found some critical bugs in the code.
I have so many ideas for the next update. It will probably take a while, but it will be amazing!

Re: Scan log location
Hi scottay. The current version doesn't have that option, but I'll add it for the next build. In the meanwhile, you have an easy workaround. Add the following lines to your UVK script somewhere after the third party scans commands: <CmdScript> @echo off Md %systemdrive%\UVKAutoScansLogs move /y %Use...

Re: Hmm, look here, please
Thanks for the info, George. Well, he certainly had some system files infected, which have been removed by the third party scanner applications, and caused those errors. He should have checked the option to run an sfc scan, in the Repair script options . There's nothing wrong with the update or the ...

Re: Error: Array variable ..
Thanks George, I really appreciate your help. Here's another file. I disabled all the filters for the network interfaces. It should now show them all. But I don't want it to show them all, just Lan, Wan, and modem adapters. So the file will create a new log in your desktop. I need you to post the lo...

Re: Error: Array variable ..
Well, you have a modem, not a lan or wan adapter...
But keep following this topic. I'll see what I can do, but will need you to test. I don't have any machine with modem here, at the moment.

Re: Error: Array variable ..
Yes!!! I found it! thank you so much for helping me out with this one, George. it was really an error code. Sorry I said it was only for your pc. In fact, it would happen for all machines with more processors than network adapters. Caused by copy/paste. My bad... Here's the new file. This one should...

Re: Error: Array variable ..
I wish it was that simple, George... You see, UVK was written it the AutoIt language. If that message box is displayed, it's because there's something wrong with the code. It's weird that it only happens in your pc, though. Maybe you have something missing in the registry. Anyway, the code must prev...

Re: Error: Array variable ..
Thanks George. I hope you're not tired of helping me with the debug. Here's another file to test. This one will create a small log in your desktop named UVK_Debug.txt. Please copy and post the contents of the log. UVK_en.zip Hopefully this one will tell me exactly were the error is. Thanks again.

Re: Error: Array variable ..
Ok, here they are. I'm having a bad time finding the issue.
I don't see anything wrong with the code.
So, I removed the part that creates the inputs with the lan/wan adapter info. If you don't mind testing again...

Yes, but George, that still didn't tell me what I need to know. I really need to know what was the text below the progress bar when it crashed. Look at the picture below. Re: Error: Array variable ..
Hey this is not a jail! Don't let it stop you from living your life. When you come back, I have one more question. Are you sure the error occurs while the system info progress window is displayed? Edit: Can you tell the state of the progress bar when the error occurs? More or less. i.e middle, one q...
