[SOLVED] <IEStartPages> | Start Page | Google
Hello Fred, Is it possible to make this script command (<IEStartPages> | Start Page | Google) editable to choose the search provider desired? Like Yahoo or Bing etc. The new Bata 5.5.4.0 seems to be working well. The reboot in safe mode is nice and the new beep options are exactly what I needed. Tha...

Re: Bata 5.5.1.0
Thanks Fred, Looking back. I left out some information on why I think I like the beep better. I have a 32x40 garage and I built small 10x12 room in it that I do computer stuff in. In the other section of the garage I have a 10,000 lb. automotive hoist and do some automobile/stuff repair when I’m fee...

Bata 5.5.1.0
Thanks for the updated version Fred. :D Everything seems to work just fine. The reboot in safe mode is a nice addition for sure. I’m not so sure about the tada beep though. I think I would prefer a plain old beep. Too many tada’s in a row doesn’t sound right to me. However, given some time I may get...

Re: FTP System Information, logs, etc...
Hi Fred,
I’ll see if I can work this out. I’m really busy the next few days, but will get back to it as soon as I can.
Thank you!

FTP System Information, logs, etc...
Would it be possible to set something up that upon close asks if you would like to FTP System Information, logs etc. to my own FTP server? Maybe a config file that can be downloaded with my setup so UVK knows what to do when it’s opened if that config file is present and ignores this feature if ther...

Re: Beep on upon completion
Being able to change the number of beeps is a great idea. One could maybe throw a certain number of beep in the script so you would have an idea of where it’s at along the way. Thanks Fred.

Beep on upon completion
Hello Fred, Thanks for the updated version of UVK. Nice work. :D  I’m wondering if in the next update you could add to the log analyzer script builder a command to beep on upon completion of an automated script to grab my attention so I would know when it’s done. That way I could do other stuf...

Damn Fred! That’s simply brilliant. You Nailed it. Thank you for taking the time to figure that out for me. Is That already in UVK? If not, stick that sucker in there. That’s a keeper.

Re: Internet Explorer 10 history stops working.
Thanks for your time Fred. I tried every one of the script fixes you posted one at a time without any luck. After that I did the step below. A. Used systems restore to go back to a point where history is working fine. B. Rebooted & verified history is still working. It was. C. Ran UVK registry b...

Re: Internet Explorer 10 history stops working.
Fred, Thanks for the reply. I did all those things but went ahead and checked them anyway. I also saw that information in the link you sent. After that it really started to bug the heck out of me so I gave my cleanup routine a look and did things one step at a time. I use your program as well as ano...

[Solved]Internet Explorer 10 history stops working.
Windows 7 Professional SP1 64bit on a Dell Studio 1749. IE 10 history stops working. I upgraded IE9 to IE10 and the history transfers along with the upgrade just fine. The history seems to work as it should, but then a day or two later when I want to go back to a previously visited page the history ...

Bata version 5.3.2.0
The program is much more responsive than it used to be. I really haven’t had the chance to use it that much as things are bit slow right now. Nice job on moving forward and improving UVK to make it better. Thanks Fred.

Re: Run UVK from bootable, "live" CD?
Holy smokes! Man, if you could turn UVK into a boot disk. That would be great! I have a UVK license, but would be interested in paying more, again or extra to have an ISO of a bootable disk. I have a USB drive that has many bootable ISO’s on it and to add a branded version of UVK to it would be flip...

Hello from Lake George Tech
My name is Bill. I’m a self-taught Tech and one man show. I live in northern Minnesota, USA. I bought a branding license for UVK and am glad I did. The program works well, is easy to use and the help files are easy to understand and straight forward. UVK dose many things that every tech needs. I fou...
