Re: Stop Edge Browser from Restoring Tabs after a Crash

Apologies Jim. My reply was rude and snarky. I just don't give a crap anymore and someone else crapped in my corn flakes this morning. I think I will just go back to bed for a while.

Re: Stop Edge Browser from Restoring Tabs after a Crash

Hey Jim, Ok, why install extra crap when what you need is right there. So, I should just tell people that IE and Edge sucks and they have to change or find someone else that will help them? No sir! That is not a solution? I don’t know what browsers you are speaking of but I can tell you I think Goog...

Re: Stop Edge Browser from Restoring Tabs after a Crash

Hi Fred, I saw that about opening a PDF file as well. For myself, I normally just reset edge. I was hoping to locate a fix that would just do it so I don’t have to explain to people that they need to open a PDF file. Half the time it’s one of those “your computer is infected” pages that makes people...

Stop Edge Browser from Restoring Tabs after a Crash

Hey Guys, Does anyone know of a good way to stop Microsoft edge from restoring tab after a crash? I found this https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/edge-browser-stop-tab-restore but people are saying that this doesn’t work anymore with Windows 10 version 1703. I’m not finding anything that is currant....

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone. Weather one celebrates Christmas or not, with the New Year just around the corner it’s a great time to reflect on the outgoing year, look ahead to a new year with new opportunities and spend time with those we love. :)

Re: Reset IE and internet settings

Thanks Fred. Not a bug at all. It never used to do that. Microsoft changed something because it’s doing it when it’s reset through IE now as well. I didn’t think to check that until you responded. I’m getting sick of Microsoft. Every update turns step recorder back on. And what about the doing exper...

Re: Quiet...

Hi Everyone, I’ve been so busy. It seems like all of our junk breaks at the same time. I’ve been replacing doors. It all started with a storm door and turned into two storm doors as well as two metal doors. Winter is coming soon so there’s the hurry to get stuff done before it snows too. Like firewo...

Re: SSD makes

I’ve only replaced a few and used Kingston’s. There’s no bond to Kingston except I was given four of them and they seems to work well so I just went with them. Although, the one in my Dell mini isn’t impressive but neither is the processor or the ram being maxed at 2GB. I only use that at the clinic...

Re: Hey Fred

Fred, I just ran this using version is 1.0.1.0. When it’s done it doesn’t revert back to asking for the user password. Auto login continues. When I go to add a user password it knows there is one and asks for the current password before being able to enter/change the password. Otherwise it seems to ...

Re: Nsis Error Launching Installer error

Just to follw up on this. This is where its at for now. Hi Bill, No, I don't know why. The install is working here on all our 64bit test servers, and we've not received any other reports about it yet. This error indicates a CRC error. The installer is expecting the data to produce a particular value...
