Automatically run UVK
I'm playing around and learning. I have found -auto will run most things in my script without any interaction from the user. Some of the things show up on the screen however. Is there a -silent command I could use to stop that from happening?

Re: Fred C
Thanks everyone for your concern. I was admitted to the hospital on Sunday with chest pains that turned out to have nothing to do with my heart. They were because of irritation with staples in my chest. I had lung surgery 20 years ago and the staples are acting up due to stress. Because of a family ...

Adw cleaner
Was using Adw Cleaner today and noticed they too support Paris. They changed the A in the Adw cleaner logo to the Eifel Tower.

Re: translate
Just a thought for in the mean time. Can you copy and past the report into Google Translate and let it translate to Dutch? I tried it for my pastor who is Korean and it didn't work too well. Not sure if it's the Korean language or the translator.

Re: UVK price change
Just curious, can anyone tell me what programs would be in the same category as UVK? I only know D7ii. Is there any others? Not asking about price, but rather what UVK does.

Re: UVK price change
I'm on board with whatever Fred wants to do. Can I suggest something though? A lot of developers like you Fred have "Donation" buttons on their websites. I for one sure would help with the upkeep and R&D by donating to the developer.

AdwCleaner
This might be a bug but I didn't want to post there in case it's me. In version 7.5.? I try to run an adwCleaner scan. The running goes to download and then quites saying it's done. Then it opens the website asking me to download it directly. Is that a glitch? It's not an AV blocking issue because i...

Re: UVK price change
While there is a lot of talk here, can I beat the dead horse about pricing? For me as a technician I think your software is worth far more than just 10.00 a year. 25.00 at the very least.

Re: UVK price change
What is really meant by "Lifetime". Life of the person, or life of the product? I don't mind one bit that Fred is considering charging for this software yearly, in fact I encourage it. This is the only program I know that has a lifetime license, and I think its taking way too much money aw...

Perfect idea Jim. Now that I know how to automate UVK it would be perfect to hide it.

I also expect to see this as a yearly fee and not one time price. That is the best way to do it.

Re: USM? Maybe?
I'd like to be able to monitor services such as print spooler. If a service were to stop responding an alert can be sent and an option to restart could be initiated. I also like automation. Instead of creating a scheduled task on each machine we could use this monitor software to set up automatic cl...
Re: Antivirus
I agree with you brink but a bit of clarification. Safe search does not change anything. What it does (at least now) is lets you know what links on the search results page are safe to click on. Just ads a little icon next to the link.

Cortona error
If you use the "Kill all non critical processes" function Cortona is stopped in Windows 10. This causes a big glitch and reboots Windows.
Antivirus
Jim and I have been exploring this wonderful tool we call UVK. We've discovered how to use it as an automatic tool inside the task scheduler but I have a question about this. For clients who have an antivirus (AVG) that thinks the Java update is harmful(AVG), is there a way to turn off the antivirus...
