Re: Some small issues
I forgot one bug report: the "reset IE and internet settings" is no longer automated, it doesn't close the dialog.

Re: Windows update error 8007000e
As Fred said, you should really try to get last official windows 7 install media (that got sp1 pre-installed) or unofficial even more up to date install media (you can integrate them yourself with dism if you've time). It could save you a lot of time (from a sp1 windows 7 install you'll have to inst...

Some small issues
When updating 9.6.5.0 from previous versions, uvk didn't reloaded itself. On portable version, when we close the window it ask if we want to uninstall (that's the expected behaviour) but if we run another instance (at least via SR section but I guess it is the same if we launch it manually) when clo...

Re: Report ID in filename
Hi Fred, About utf8 ... I guess I got too much excited because it used to work before your started to replace with _ but it doesn't work anymore (I changed my server so maybe it's the cause). I managed to have it working here but I can't be sure it will work for everybody (windows or linux server, p...

Re: SR fixes description
Just noticed that it is also mixed in report.html file, don't know if your fix will also fix it there (I guess, since it's related) so I prefer to notice you about it.

Re: Possible bug in windows 7
OK, thanks, Manu. The culprit is the Fix Subsystems key. It's actually caused by a small typo: An excessive quote. Impressive what a simple character can do. I also noticed that Cleanup the registry and Cleanup junk files don't automatically close after the cleanup, so I'll fix that too, and then r...

Re: Possible bug in windows 7
After they didn't boot yes. A 0x0000004 (or maybe a "A", or "4C" or "4F" or something like that) error if I remember correctly.
Sorry I forgot to mention that but now that you talk about it at least too of the machines had that same error number

Re: URL’s opened in the favorites folder don’t work as they should
If your talking about favorites folder I guess you're using/talking about IE ? did you moved your favorites folder or is it in your profile dir ?
I never had this issue (but I never used IE or edge...) but I can try to reproduce it

Re: Possible bug in windows 7
Yea Manu, I asked Fred a very similar question about Windows 10.... Never did get a solution to it. All we know for sure is it does not appear that UVK it's self caused it. Yeah I saw that, but I didn't encounter any problem on windows 10 for now with the same SR settings. On the first two computer...

Possible bug in windows 7
Hi Fred, Since last week (3 machines last week and 1 today), all machines on windows 7 where I run UVK won't boot anymore after I complete my usual uvk sr and I end up to reinstall the OS. Could it be caused by one of the fix I use ? (I used the uvk sr settings I sent to you yesterday). the first tw...

SR fixes description
Hi Fred, I just notice that because I wanted to add some more fixes in my uvk sr settings file but In SR section, some fixes doesn't have the good description on the right pane (seems they are wrong only in top apps and fixes). For example "Reset Ip, winsock and proxy" have the description...

Re: Report ID in filename
Ok i'll ask him. But there won't be any update before à while I think. He does an update every six month usually. If you can add the id already it would be nice. And I'll tell you as soon as you can stop replacing chars. (In fact you could almost already do it because uvk import is actually broken a...

Re: Report ID in filename
Manu, I strip all the non letter/digit characters because someone said I had to here in the forum. I'll try to find the post. So I need to put ID before the last report ID used? I'm getting a little confused here... No, just the id (well as you want in fact), we will just had ID before the real pcr...

Re: Report ID in filename
As you want Fred, It won't change the mod ! (the id on pcrt is just a number, and we will have to add "ID" before, that's all, the regex search for something between "ID" and a _ (I'll just change for a dot if you put it at the end) and check if there's a corresponding open work ...
