Re: Announcement: Plugin and Automation System for PCRT
This system is for someone that's already has, using, or plan on getting PCRT, and want an feature set that RepairShopr offers, and thought PCRT had it already or would be able to offer. My purchase of PCRT could be seen as an mistake, this system corrects that. If one can see the overall benefits ...

Re: Announcement: Plugin and Automation System for PCRT
I'll look at a demo of it. I am currently NOT using PCRR though. You are right that repairshopr is vastly more expensive but it offers features PCRT just can't touch.

Re: Announcement: Plugin and Automation System for PCRT
If you clean up your presentation, figure out a more realistic price point and describe better how your plug in is supposed to improve PCRT, I know there are PCRT users here that would be happy to evaluate it and see what merits it has. Well, even if he clean up everything nobody would be able to e...

Move User folders
Could the option to move user folders be added to the User manager?
When using solid state drives I still like to move the user folders to a 7200RPM drive to save space on the solid state.
Thoughts?

Re: Announcement: Plugin and Automation System for PCRT
OK, Here is my two cents. First off, Kudos on the keyboard time. Now comes the bad part. 1) I'm not sure what your plug in does. 2) The image presentation is lacking in visibility and professionalism 3) The Price point is higher than the host application 4) PCRT needs a whole new platform, not just ...

Re: Eset flagging UVK
I like AppEsteems idea but their excution, sucks. I actually prolly would not have known about them if they had not flagged UVK and Fred posted here. One of their criteria for a deceiver is "Application does not offer a fully functional trial." As a consumer, I'm on board with that. Fix my...

Re: Eset flagging UVK
Fred i followed your link info and ESET claims it's because it's in the appesteem list. Also they just notified me that they removed it, however that like is still active on their website so i don't really consider that removed if they are still sharing that info with people. I plan to contact ESET ...

Re: Eset flagging UVK
First off, I would like to applaud you on a novel idea for helping to reduce spyware. However, I think your idea might be in vain if you are going to devour apps that are made for the purpose of cleaning computers. UVK is used by hundreds of IT business owners such as myself and trusted to do exactl...

fred
First off. Thank you for adding the tool. But, you missed one. I ran it on my system and it missed an icon.

Windows 10 start menu
Hey, I'm not aware of UVK cleaning up the windows 10 start menu. In other words, removing all the tiles.
What do you think about making UVK do that?

The memory count is way off here. Not sure how much I can help other than this as the customer is coming in a little while. Re: Can't create local profile
Well, technically it did work fine. It's just that it told me it did not work but it actually worked just fine. I suspect it's only a Windows 10 issue in the way it really tries to keep you from creating local accounts and may not return the values that you are expecting it to, therefore throwing a ...

Re: Can't create local profile
I will keep that all in mind. However, this computer, was one I was working on and had been rebooted several times prior to this. From EUM I went directly to the users in control panel and it was there. I immediately rebooted to log into that user instead of trying to switch users so I couldn't tell...

Can't create local profile
Fred
I tried to use the easy user manager earlier today on a Windows 10 box. The tool said it failed to create the local account but, the account actually did show up in windows. It seemed as though it did work even though EUM said it did not.

Re: Problems with Report integration with PCRT
I used to use PCRT and obviously still use UVK. UVK has never added anything to a PCRT ticket other than the zipfile. I actually think PCRT it's self extracts the System info file from the Zip so all UVK is doing is uploading a zip. I actually switched to RepairShopr and the integration there is sys...

Re: Introducing Account Profile Fixer
Nope this software will not help in that case (That is my assumption). If you can't log into any account, then it's prolly a corrupt profile and using an offline registry editor should fix that. Fred does have a tool in UVK that will fix it but only if you can boot to a profile.

Re: Introducing Account Profile Fixer
Jim, most of the things you request here can be easily added, or even done manually: hide the install dir, remove the desktop and start menu shortcuts, the context menu and the uninstall entry. Run silently is also an existing option for scripts or SR files and reporting is already implemented. Tha...
