You can reboot when you wish, Jamie. Everything went as it was meant to.
After rebooting, if IE still generates the error, please post.
Thanks.

Re: bugs
No, I think it's better to create and send the logs in the other computer too. Specially because it may not have the system service file missing, and have other files missing.
So how is this pc working?

Re: bugs
I've just finished creating your cleanup/repair script. Most of the items to cleanup are cookies. it seems SAS was unable to delete them. You also have a toolbar crapware named StartNow Toolbar that SAS didn't fully remove either. Also a missing system service file. May be the reason why you can't i...

Re: [b]Repeated Problem with Lost File Associations in Win X
Hi Mwasso, welcome to the forum. When I started reading your post, I thought it was the .exe file extesion/association that was corrupted. But then you said you downloaded and run all those programs, so I assumed that since you were able to run them, the executable file association shouldn't be corr...

Re: bugs
Hi again Jamie. A workaround for the sfc scan may be re-installing the service pack 3.
I didn't receive the mail with the logs. Can you please send it again? I've temporarily disabled the junk mail filter.
Thanks.
Be safe.

Re: bugs
The system protected resources scan can get messy on XP. the problem is that most of the people have the SP3, which has been installed by the windows updates, but their CD is SP1 or SP2 (useless to sfc). You can stop it by clicking the cancel button in the smaller sfc window (usually it's behind the...
