Hi tvd.

Currently, there is no folder whitelisting support. I will see if I can come up with something.

Re: UVK Portable Custom Apps Issue

Hi Punker180. Thanks for posting here in the UVK forums. I'm not sure why you're not being able to edit the custom apps. It's working fine for me. As for the icons, I thought about that, but since there is no easy way we could cloud sync something like that, I gave up. Maybe I can come up with somet...

Re: New beta notifications

It's been a long time since I last posted here. We've just released a new beta version with some new features. v11.9.1 Added support for 17 more custom apps in the Home page. All of these custom apps can be exported to UVKSettings.ini and cloud sync'd. Added a new option to permanently disable the H...

Re: Could you maybe prompt the user instead of making assumptions?

Hi Whiggs.

I will add a checkbox named "Upon failure, delete on reboot". If it asked you each time a file is scheduled for removal on reboot, it could generate thousands of prompts.

Re: Been a long time!

Oh Bill, sorry your health isn't good. Thankfully you have a good family that takes good care of you. I'm guessing you spend mot of your time at your cabin by the lake, which is good. Nature is good at healing.

Stay safe and keep in touch!

Re: RMM Capabilities

Even though I am out of the game now, I would still love to see this come to fruition. I think it will be great. Glad to see you here again, JIm. I'm working on Win STORM every time I get a chance. It will have RMM, LMM, support for offline systems and much more, in addition to all UVK features. Bu...

Re: Import - Export setting

Hi Muhammad.

Thank you for your excellent suggestion. I plan to add at least some of the features you mention to PC Data Back and UVK's Backup and recovery module.

It may take some time as I'm very busy at this point.

Take care

Re: Install Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat via Tech Tool Store

Hi Muhammad. Adobe acrobat is already part of TTS. As for MS Office, I would recommend that you create a new tool that installs an office package that you previously placed in the Tech tool store tools folder. Downloading the desired package is also possible, if you know the direct URL Most office p...

Re: The pcs in m'y bedroom

Hello and welcome to he UVK forums. I will assist you in this topic and try to fix your issues. Macbook : We do not recommend the use of macbooster or cleanmmymac. Those applications usually cause more harm than good and are probably in the origin of some of your issues. I recommend that you backup ...

Re: WAU / MRS ... hybrid? Update/reboot/repeat til done

It might require some scripting skills, but yes, it's perfectly possible. Maybe several scripts. The first one would create a scheduled task that would run the second one after reboot, the second would delete the scheduled task from the first one and create a new task that would run the third script...

Re: WAU / MRS ... hybrid? Update/reboot/repeat til done

Hi Xander.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I think I didn't really understand what is it you need. From what I understood, all that can be easily achieved with an SR file or a UVK script, so I'm obviously missing something.

Care to elaborate a bit?

Hi Muhammad.

You should not delete the MSOCache folder. It contains install software for Microsoft Office that is used in case of Windows upgrades or simply to repair/add office features.

Re: Rebootexec - could it run the watermark without the parameter?

Hi Xander. Sorry I didn't get a notification about your last post.

Yes, I created that dialog box in the last update. It's working fine for me.

MRS and APF do not depend on RebootExec. But RebootExec contains their code, so it can do all the things they do.

Re: Rebootexec - could it run the watermark without the parameter?

RebootExec does a lot of things. Besides many commands that are executed on reboot, it also contains the code for Desktop Watermark, Stop Resetting My Apps, Multiple Reboot Scheduler, Account Profile Fixer, Configure Immunization and others. When executed without command line parameters it will show...
