Re: C++ Build - Ready for production.

Just tested quickly right after download and so far so good that seems awesome :) I didn't tested the c++ build since the early builds and I have to say : Nice job Fred, I can't wait for it to replace the actual uvk :) It's faster, and I love the "tooltips" for information instead of dialo...

Re: Parsable system info available in 7.6.5

Hi Jim, No, was just talking about the official integration in the v3, but after testing it doesn't really work. I'll be back to work tomorrow (end of holidays ) and I need a working import so I guess I'll have to use my old mod for now while trying to make the new version work correctly [EDIT]...

Re: C++ build - Almost there

Sorry Fred but about the welcome screen I also prefer the way it is actually, I don't like the stretched ui with wasted space. But well that's not really a problem I'll just keep it the min size and won't maximize it, that's all. Fred, for this one, you can just default it to the normal size and yo...

Re: First Time User - Need some thoughts

I think what you're searching for is the "system repair" section of uvk, there you can automate what you want, include scripts, resetting browsers, etc... And it will continue after reboot....

Re: Web Host

I've recently switched to web4all (was on 1and1 France before) I love it. That's not a big company that's a french non-profit organization and they all are passionate volunteers, all the money they got is used for the infrastructure. Performances are way better than 1and1, the back-office is homemad...

Re: Restore previous UAC state / systeminfo.ini

Manu, I just uploaded a new release. UVK now ensures that SystemInfo.ini is added to the zip. As for Restore previous UAC state, it seems to be working fine for me, maybe AV preventing the change? We'll see in the future how it behaves. Thanks Fred, yeah I'll try to be careful about that in next re...

I don't really know, at least on a windows 10 64bits, I don't remember for other times it failed (was windows 8 or 10)

For the log it is checked as I have the system info.html file but the .ini isn't included un the zip files

Restore previous UAC state / systeminfo.ini

Hi Fred,

Restore previous UAC state doesn't work, it always stay disabled.

When I upload reports, the systeminfo.ini file seems to be generated but it doesn't appear in the zip, is it normal? How to make it included ?

Re: Windows 10 safe mode wireless networking

Or you could use the WLAN profiles manager to connect. http://www.carifred.com/uvk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=947&p=2885&hilit=wlan+profiles+manager#p2885 Never seen this one, I'll give it a try, thanks :) Ok. I should have said on a remote reboot. If I have the computer I just plug it i...

Well it does work but doesn't connect automatically.

You can try to run netsh connect

Re: Unattended uninstall of blacklisted apps

Mmmh, I didn't realised that your way of unattend uninstall was to automatically click buttons, I though it was only using the command line switches.

Nevermind, I'll keep using my batch scripts for automated debloating :)

Re: Unattended uninstall of blacklisted apps

That's been already requested. The problem is that UVK can not just guess which options to use (forced uninstall, unattended...). If it has to let you choose the desired options before uninstalling, it will not be very different from the current Uninstall programs SR item. So, why add a new one? ye...

Unattended uninstall of blacklisted apps

Hi Fred,

Could you add an SR entry to uninstall automatically all blacklisted apps ?

Would be nice for easy debloating of new computers and for removing some apps we always remove while cleaning up.

Re: Cleanup all generated reports

Thanks Fred :) Put it where you think it is the best (in reporting section seems a nice place for it yeah if it doesn't recreate files after) as long as it works it's fine for me :D PS: I don't know if that was clear since I've used the word "reports" but it would be nice if it delete all ...

Re: Cleanup all generated reports

How about adding a "Delete files after sending" checkbox in the Reporting section? The check box state would be automatically saved, and could be exported to UVKSettings.ini. Does that sound good? That sounds perfect for me ! Mmmh...wait, we will end up with the same problem it will recre...
