Re: Error when downloading MBAM

Yeah. I just tested again and it's doing it again unfortunately. I would think filehippo would be a great source as well. Maybe we can put our heads together and figure something out? PM me so we can talk. Maybe you have IM so we can chat?

Re: Suggestions

Ok I saw it. It may be worth to think about the 64 bits Windows archs too. If you want, you can add another script for x64: <Run> %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\unins000.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES Just a thought. :) Dohhh. Didn't think of that. Will tweak.

Re: Suggestions

Well, anything is useful, scripts to repair or reset or change windows features. One feature I'm planning to add to UVK in the future is "Repair Windows native services". Normally, this should include repairing the registry entries for the services, and run sfc /scanfile="ServiceDllP...

Re: Suggestions

Thanks. Feel free to create a topic to host or post your scripts. I'll try to add the to the script collection as soon as possible. I wanted to increase the script collection, but it's not been easy, mostly because of my leak of time, but also for laziness. I love writing programs, but am not a big...

Re: Suggestions

Nice one, fRequEnCy! I think I'll add that one to the script collection when I have some time. @sudo, thanks for the suggestions. WSUS Offline can also be automated by a UVK script. Just use the <Download> command to download it, and <Run> or <RunWait> to execute. As far as I know, it supports comm...

Re: Suggestions

Uninstalling MBAM can be done with a script. Here is a link to one I created. This simply uninstalls MBAM and does it quietly so no need to bring up the uninstaller. This does it without any user interaction besides running script of course. There may be a time where it might not work and I've encou...

Re: Freeze when installing Windows FixIt Center

Yes... That value prevents any autorun.inf from being executed. The enable autoplay UVK function deletes that value. but I can still delete it before installing the Fixit center. I took a look at the code, and in fact, the "freezing is not a bug. If "Unattended mode is unchecked, UVK paus...

Re: Freeze when installing Windows FixIt Center

Thanks for the greeting! No need for apologies. Looking forward to the new build. The registry is [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\IniFileMapping\Autorun.inf]. I just created a script to erase and then reboot (required). Then it installs just fine. In my case, the ke...

Freeze when installing Windows FixIt Center

Not so much a bug since I'm sure it works fine when there are no issues but I've done testing on a few machines and it seems that it's a common problem sometimes that FixIt Center errors out when installing according to google search. So I'm sure that the automation process is pausing waiting to ins...
