To install UVK you should first download the latest version by clicking the button below:

If your .exe file extension has been corrupted download UVKPortable.com. Doesn't require installation.

Use the dialog boxes of your browser to save and open the file when the download finishes.

Accept the license agreement by clicking the button I accept.

The UVK setup window will be displayed like the screenshot above.

Choose the options of your choice by checking or un-checking the boxes under Options:

  Create system restore point:
We highly recommend to leave checked.

  Run UVK after install:
Whether to open UVK when setup finishes installation.

  UVK context menu:
If you leave checked, the setup will create a context menu (Right click menu) for all files and folders, showing: Delete with UVK. This allows you to easily force the deletion of some items you can't delete using windows explorer.
It will also create a context menu for all files showing File information. This menu allows to get all sorts of info on a file, verify its signature and get its VirusTotal MD5 hash report.
This feature will only be available for the users who have bought the UVK branding key.

  Associate with .uvk files:
If you leave checked, .uvk scripts created with the Log analyzer will open immediately in the Run UVK Scripts section. You will only have to click Fix listed.

  Create desktop shortcut:
Whether to create a shortcut to UVK on current user's desktop.

  Use Auto Update:
If you leave checked, every time UVK is started, it will check the existence of a new version and prompt you to download and install it. This will be done on background and won't slow down the computer.

  Use tooltips:
This will set whether to show tooltips for all the controls on the UVK window.

Most of these options can be changed on UVK's interface clicking UVK Options and then checking or un-checking same named boxes.

Click Install. A progress bar will show you the progress of installation for a few seconds, and UVK window will be displayed if Run UVK after install was checked.

And that's all. UVK is installed and ready for use.

You can click Help to learn all the features and functions of the software and get started!

Note: If your reinstalling UVK, you won't be able to change the installation path. This is normal, if you changed the install path, UVK wouldn't be able to delete the files from the previous installation when uninstalling.
